     Matt is an average guy following a supernatural God on an extraordinary journey. Matt makes his home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is married to his beautiful wife, Debbie. They have five great sons: Josiah, Seth, Sam, John, and Andrew.

I have been staying in a mud hut for the past week and I will be departing for the U.S. soon.

Overall, the trip went very well, though I learned a lot about what to do differently in the future. The team did a terrific job, ministering in a women’s prison, six churches, a children’s home, in the slums, in an AIDS home, doing prophetic training in a Bible school, and training over one thousand people in hygiene habits. Much of the ministry took place during a very short period of time.

In the last Morning Star Journal, Rick shared that Bob Jones had given him a word several months ago saying that we were “returning to 1989.” The Lord told Bob that many things that had happened in 1989 would once again take place in 2001, and we would receive opportunities to pass many of the tests that we had failed in 1989.
